Our four-year-old woke up early one morning and made us these drawings that went with some interesting stories. What a kid.

I have worked on and off this writing book for a while. Finally finished it in time to send it out for Christmas presents. My four year old really likes practicing his letters. My next project will be writing numbers book.

I won't bore you with all of them but here are the last few. I challenged myself in January to do 1,000 sketches of hands by the time #2's birth some time in May. Well a few things came up so I didn't finish until November. It was an interesting challenge for myself.
I certainly feel much more confident when I look at hands. One thing I tried to do was draw a natural looking hand, then do another more stylized or exaggerated. To me the more exaggerated hands are more lively and fun. Elegant hands are still difficult. Just capture the fine thinness that conveys a feminine hand and you have it.
